It's over

As of this morning, Patreon is enforcing their ID verification policy and will not allow payouts without verification, followed by suspending my page on July 29. Of course, they had to do the evil thing and start enforcing this right before the end of the month to spook creators into verifying. Fortunately, I've been withdrawing money early every month, so I only lose out on about $2.

What's going on?

As I've talked about before, I am unwilling to submit ID verification due to privacy and safety concerns. The verification company Jumio, that Patreon has chosen to partner with, has a history of poor security and has faced lawsuits over it. Additionally, in the face of a US election that could turn out poorly, I do not think it would be safe to have my name and face on a list of NSFW artists that would no doubt be surrendered to the government if asked, especially as a trans woman.

For this reason, I am closing down my Patreon. I have paused billing, so no money will be transferred unnecessarily, and I will be shutting down the page entirely within the next few weeks (unlike Patreon, I'll let you know in advance when exactly that is). Any art I finish between now and then will still be posted here, albeit briefly.

What's next?

Since it took Patreon well over a year since announcing this policy to actually do anything and then just made it a fun surprise, I have been left somewhat adrift when it comes to planning where to go next. This is why I haven't promoted my page at all and my subscriber count has dwindled--thanks for that too, Patreon!

My immediate plans now are to focus on commissions. I will also release a new variant pack with the remaining Patreon sets very soon on Gumroad (until they kick me off too, at least).

As for a Patreon replacement, I have been looking at Subscribestar since that seems to be the most popular among bondage artists who have had to leave Patreon. I haven't decided yet, though, and it may be a little while before I get everything set up.

What about the rewards?

I advise everyone to save whatever content you want as soon as possible. Variant set links will remain up for a while, but they will eventually be removed. Additionally, art has always been posted here at full size while public versions are often at a lower resolution and then further compressed on social media, so if that's something you care about, I suggest saving those pictures too.

Discord roles will remain indefinitely, although I suspect Patreon's bot will screw something up in that regard. I've saved a list of patrons and their Discord handles, so if something goes wrong, please let me know on there and I'll fix it.

How can you support me?

I have commissions open right now. If you're a newer patron and you don't have a bunch of previous variant sets, you may be interested in my Gumroad store too; once I get the new pack out, all of the Patreon variant sets will be available there. If you want to send me some money just to support me, there's my Ko-fi as well.

If you want to support me but can't or don't want to give me (more) money, it's always a good idea to retweet my art on Twitter and Bsky. Also, leaving comments on my website always cheers me up.

Finally, since this is the last chance I have to plug it, I also stream on Twitch several times a week.

In conclusion

I think I've covered everything, but if you have any further questions, comments or suggestions, please let me know in the comments.

It's been a pleasure creating art for you all for the past five years, through all the experiments and all the ups and downs. Here's to new horizons once again, and many more years of me tying up your favourite girls.

For the last time on this site, Rosie rollin' out!
