I think, looking at your drawing of her, I realize why Yukari reminds me of late-teens Sora. It's not so much her looks as it is the KIND of cuteness she resonates: something a bit more... I wanted to say plain, but that sounds insulting. Unassuming? It's that kind of cuteness that you notice more on further examination. That's how I feel anyway. You captured that perfectly here, and I feel the choice of gag really highlights that. Ballgags are something I hated for the longest time, but in more recent years I've come to love them, and I feel they look their best on a more subtle beauty... if any of that above makes sense. :P
